Banking and Finance

VEYA has built a unique competency in Banking and Finance. We have long standing relationships with many of the biggest banks in Namibia. We service everything in these institutions from the Core Banking systems on which their organisations run, to the terminals that serve their clients in branches all over the country. We source, install, manage and support the ATM infrastructure for multiple Namibian banks. We implement, manage and support monitoring systems for many of these institutions as well. Our competency in this area is attested to by the relationships we hold with global banking leaders such as Diebold-Nixdorf, CR2 and SAP.

Business Systems and Integration  

The Business Systems and Integration (BSI) business unit plans to achieve the highest partnership status with SAP, that of Service Alliance Partner.  The BSI business unit is home to VEYA’s considerable SAP capability and is recognized as a leading SAP services provider in Namibia.  Our clients benefit from the exceptional depth and breadth of business, product and implementation experience of our consultants. 

With our Microsoft expertise, we combine business expertise with a deep technical understanding in the development of well architected Microsoft solutions specialising in Business Intelligence, Microsoft Business Solutions including Dynamics GP, and Microsoft Productivity tools e.g. CRM and SharePoint. 

VEYA provides best practice solutions tailored for the markets that we serve. These include niche solutions from best-in-class global technology vendors to the financial services-, retail-, manufacturing- and public sector markets.

This business unit also provides specialized IT services in areas such as Audit and Compliance through their partners Barn-Owl and OnBase.  These services and products have seen an upsurge in the local market, as industries aim for more transparency and accountability.

Infrastructure Services and Support

The Infrastructure Services and Support (ISS) business unit provides a comprehensive distributed computing solution to the large and medium enterprise market. Services are fully integrated to ensure an end-to-end managed desk side service through the complete lifecycle – from asset purchase through on-going support to the termination of the asset. ISS is fully certified with the leading technology vendors and is able to provide a seamless warranty and break-fix solution for hardware problems or a remotely managed solution for other management functions. It is a centre of excellence specialising in the provision of seamless, integrated infrastructure support services according to specific client needs which may include desktop, server and network support services through to infrastructure project deployment.

This core service includes storage and processing capability incorporating world class technologies such as virtualisation, optimisation and disaster recovery management. Value added services including Application Hosting, IT Optimisation (including Server Consolidation), Co-location, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Management, Managed Security and Remote Server Support Services.
